Soldano SLO-100 - 2004 - #1648 - with Depth Option - Seattle Washington Built - New and Biased Sovtek 5881/6L6WGC coin based tubes - New JJ ECC83S preamp tubes - New 1 and 5 amp Fast Blow fuses

Hi,

If you are looking at this amplifier, then you know exactly what it is.  The finest built ENTIRELY in SEATTLE, WASHINGTON, original Soldano factory, SLO-100 head.  #041648.

For almost 15 years, I with my company Blues City Music, LLC., was the largest and most successful Soldano authorized dealer on the planet.  When Mike sold the company in December of 2018, I ended my dealership as I had no intentions of selling Soldano amplifiers made anywhere else other than in Seattle by dear friends of mine.  Yes, Mike, Bill, Russ, Don, and Dave became good friends.  I still speak with most of the guys frequently today.

This 2004 SLO-100 is one I bought at Rumble Seat Music in Nashville, Tennessee, 11 February, 2025, when I was there to see Dream Theater's 40th anniversary show at the Opry, and while purchasing an original 1959 Gibson Les Paul Jr., double cutaway.  They had this in their amplifier room, and I immediately bought it for resell.

I replaced the output tubes with a new Apex Matched Quartet of original Sovtek 5881/6L6WGC, coin base tubes, and I biased at the absolute sweet spot of 28 Ma/milliampere's.

I replaced all 5 preamp tubes with new JJ/Tesla ECC83S tubes.

I replaced the fuses with new old stock Radio Shack 1 & 5 amp, 250 volt, AGC, fast blow fuses.

I then played the amplifier checking each control as well as the foot switch.  Zero issues.  Amp ROCKS.

This amplifier is in outstanding shape.  It has the original head shell, attached power cord, nickel hardware, and 4 screw Ernie Ball handle which has long been out of production.  Only the original rubber feet have been replaced with a smaller version, but original replacements can be purchased anywhere if desired, and for cheap, and a small vinyl sticker was place on the rear chassis by the serial # which could be removed if you desired.

The amplifier also auto switches to the Overdrive channel at startup as it should when the foot switch isn't engaged.

If you haven't owned an SLO before or spent much time with one, I have a very good tutorial video on my Blues City Music LLC You Tube channel explaining its operation. I'd HIGHLY suggest watching this video to gain the most knowledge you can about this amplifier.

Any questions, let me know.  Get this amplifier while you can, it won't last long !!!
