Solid Cables is owned and operated by Nial McGaughey of Portland, Oregon. He has been a long time guitar player endorsed by other cable manufacturers in the past, but decided he wanted something better with his overall tone. He developed Solid Cables with just that in mind.
Solid Cables offers several versions of their hand made instrument, speaker, and patch cables. You can choose from the Dynamic Arc Ultra (DAU) or the GT series for instrument cables, ELEPH or GT speaker cables, and Dynamic Arc Ultra (DAU), or GT series patch cables for your pedal boards.
When Lynn Burke, owner of Blues City Music, developed the Soldano 44 1x12" combo amp with Michael J. Soldano Jr., Solid Cables provided the proprietary reverb tank and speaker harnesses.
