Ventura County Vintage Guitars

Ventura County Vintage guitars are crafted in Southern California using premium light weight body woods and custom designed necks with hand rolled fingerboard edges that play with ease.

Guitars were developed with feedback from local players and musicians, to achieve affordable well made guitars that address issues that many high priced products overlook or do not offer.

All guitars have the finest hardware and electronics. Tuner options include Kluson, Tone Pros, Gotoh and Grover.

Bridge choices range from Mojotone, Barden, Wilkinson, Goth and Kluson.

Electronics are all close tolerance potentiometers from CTS and Bourns, while tailoring tone with capacitors form Mallory, Sprague, Vitamin Q and Jensen.

Pickups are specially selected and matched for body woods and biased to ensure a great cut through the mix...

Pickup options include: hand wound Mojotone's, MCM, SME, Suhr, Sunset, Voodoo, Seymour Duncan, Fender Custom Shop, Klein, Nordstrand and Vintage OEM.

All finishes are nitrocellulose lacquer, with lacquer sealers, tints and satin clear. Water based dye coatings are optional. All coatings are super thin to allow the wood to breath and sink in like original vintage finishes.

All guitars available in aged or distressed levels of hardware and finishes.
