ZVEX Effects pedals is the brain child of Zachary Vex, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where his pedals have been in production for over 10 years. 

He is proud of the fact that he has a large contingent of amateur players using his pedals, but also has artists such as Billy Gibbons/ZZ Top, Jack White/The White Stripes, Malcom Young/AC/DC, and Billy Corgan/Smashing Pumpkins, etc., playing his pedals as well. 

Zack has always had a very creative mind with all his designs, but the best part of his boutique pedals besides great looks and fabulous tonal aspects, is the fact that he doesn't copy any other "popular" pedals.  He feels there are already too many out there and spends his time designing his own take on a particular model. 

ZVEX offers the Vexter silk screened pedal line which are partially assembled in Taiwan and finished in Minneapolis, and the Hand Painted pedal line which is built entirely in Minneapolis. 

Are there tonal differences with the two lines?  No, not of any significance whatsoever, but one is hand painted and one is silk screened.  Fabulous pedals for a fabulous price.
