This 2011 DBZ Royale is a one of a kind guitar made ESPECIALLY for me, Lynn Burke, the owner of Blues City Music LLC. I was an early minority shareholder in all things Diamond Inc., including the acquisition of DBZ from it's founder Dean B. Zelinsky. Dean was the original founder of Dean Guitars. He sold that to the Rubison family many years later and they are still the owner of Dean Guitars today.

Dean never made P90 guitars. This was his first. What an outstanding build by Marty Macmillan in the Schaumburg, Illinois, factory. Sperzel USA tuners, bone nut, Z Glide on the back of the neck, Bigsby, gold hardware, and Jerry Amalfitano Alnico II soap bar P90 pickups. Also included is the original DBZ logo hard shell case. Rear electronics cover has Dean and Marty's signature, but there is a black original as well rear cover in the accessory area of the hard shell case.

Why am I selling this amazing guitar? I've retired from FedEx Express as a Boeing 727 and 777 Captain since 1981, and I'm closing my Blues City Music store front as well only selling guitars etc., online now, so I don't have room to bring my entire guitar and amplifier collection to my own home.

I've played this guitar for maybe 2 hours since built in 2011. I have too many guitars it seems, and I've had Marty do a complete setup on this guitar in August 2024. It's perfect.
