If you are looking at this amplifier, then you know exactly what it is. The finest built ENTIRELY in SEATTLE, WASHINGTON, original Soldano factory, SLO-100 head. #071884.
For almost 15 years, I along with my company Blues City Music, LLC., was the largest and most successful Soldano authorized dealer on the planet. When Mike sold the company in December of 2018, I ended my dealership as I had no intentions of selling Soldano amplifiers made anywhere else other than in Seattle by dear friends of mine. Yes, Mike, Bill, Russ, Don, and Dave became good friends. I still speak with most of the guys frequently today.
This 2007 SLO-100 is one I originally sold as new, but recently took in on trade, September 2026. It is a 5 option head with Effects Loop Bypass, 1/2 Power Switch, Depth Control, 425 HZ. Mid Cut, and Warren Haynes Bright Cut Switch.
I replaced the output tubes with a new Apex Matched Quartet of original Sovtek 5881/6L6WGC, coin base tubes, and I biased at the absolute sweet spot of 28 Ma/milliampere's.
I replaced all 5 preamp tubes with new JJ/Tesla ECC83S tubes.
I inspected the fuses of 1 & 5 amp, 250 volt, AGC, fast blow fuses, and they are perfect.
I then played the amplifier LOUDLY checking each control as well as the foot switch. Zero issues. Amp ROCKS.
This amplifier is in outstanding shape. It has the original head shell, attached power cord, nickel hardware, and 4 screw Ernie Ball handle which has long been out of production.
The amplifier also auto switches to the Overdrive channel at startup as it should when the foot switch isn't engaged.
