The Red Master’s Choice represents the top line of Furch’s all-solid-woods guitars that are built using the very best materials and the most advanced production technologies, including top and back voicing, the revolutionary Furch CNR System^® neck joint, and Full-Pore High-Gloss Finish. This model has the Grand Auditorium shape with cutaway, and it is made from master grade tonewoods – the soundboard features Sitka spruce, and the back and sides are made from Indian rosewood. The beauty of the woods is underscored by a host of appointments – a premium concentric-ring rosette, koa binding and tail decoration, and a ziricote bridge, fingerboard and headstock overlay. The fingerboard features front mother-of-pearl leaf inlays, a similar shape adorns also the headstock, rendered in green abalone. Thanks to the combination of premium materials and state-of-the-art production technologies, the Red Master’s Choice is top-class instrument with an attractive look and superb acoustic qualities. It produces clear, open tones that are finely balanced across the entire tonal spectrum.

The Red Master’s Choice is fitted with the LR Baggs Stagepro Anthem system, which combines a bridge pickup, an internal microphone, and a side-mounted preamp. The guitar comes with a heavy-duty Hiscox hardshell case.

Unique voicing process

The premium nature of the Red Master’s Choice is underscored by the fact that both the soundboard and the back plate are individually tuned using the voicing process, our proprietary technology that enhances the instrument’s tonal properties to the highest level. Thanks to that, the Red Master’s Choice is a crystalline clear, harmonically rich, balanced, and highly dynamic sound across the entire tonal spectrum.

Exceptional finish

The instrument is protected by our proprietary Full-Pore High-Gloss Finish, which has been developed to enhance the guitar’s tonal qualities. The finish consists of an ultrathin layer of highly resistant lacquer that provides excellent surface protection and accentuates the structure of the wood at the same time.

Furch CNR System^® Neck Design

A high precision, dual-action truss rod maintains neck stability and allows for fine adjustment of the neck relief, bilaterally. The truss rod is housed in a highly rigid carbon casing which enables a very smooth and controlled neck relief, ensuring the best playability and enduring optimal setup.

Exotic ziricote

The bridge, fingerboard and headstock overlay are made from exotic wood ziricote, which beautifully contrasts with the spruce soundboard.

Premium rosette made from koa

The soundhole is adorned by a rosette featuring a premium solid koa ring with a green abalone inlay. Koa is also used on tail decoration and body, fingerboard and headstock binding.

Excellent machine heads

The Red Master’s Choice has an excellent tuning stability courtesy of Gotoh 510 Silver Patina machine heads with polished ebony buttons and a highly precise 1:21 gear ratio.

LR Baggs Stagepro Anthem system

The Red Master’s Choice comes with LR Baggs Stagepro Anthem pickup with the control panel mounted in the side of the guitar to provide easy access to the battery, and built-in three-band equalizer. The mix control allows blending the sound from the microphone and the undersaddle pickup. Additional tone shaping features include bass and treble controls, phase inversion, a notch filter, and highly efficient feedback suppression.

High-rigidity Hiscox case

Maximum protection during transport is provided by a high-rigidity Hiscox case with polyurethane insulating foam that shields the instrument from changes in external climatic conditions.
