Great news from Memphis.

Blues City Music LLc has now picked up a 3rd string manufacturer for the shop.  Welcome to Black Diamond guitar strings from California.  Hand made COMPLETELY in the USA.  We will have electric guitar strings in sets of 9-42, 10-46, 10-50, and 11-52, acoustic strings in 6 and 12 strings with light 12's and medium 13's, as well as their coated strings which is unlike anyone else.  Finally, we will take care of our low end bass players too.  Multiple sizes of rounds, so standby we will keep you updated. 

We built a string page with all the info of the above strings and builders, so do some research and then give us a call, text, email, or come by the shop, just call ahead.

Mesa Boogie / Gibson Guitars acquisition

Hey guys/gals,

Hope all is well.  For those that may have heard or seen information about Gibson Guitars buying Mesa Boogie, RELAX.  This IS NOT CBS buying Fender in January 1965.  That was a disaster. 

Mesa Boogie has been owned by the same group since its inception in 1969.  Randy Smith, CEO of Mesa Boogie is 75 now.  He doesn't want to work for ever, but still very much enjoys doing new products like the Badlander that just launched. 

Mesa's shortest tenured employee in Petaluma, California, is 20-22 years employment.  These are family members to Randy, and make no doubt about it, Randy will have complete control of Mesa Boogie.

So, did you know Fiat owns Ferrari and Lambo both?  My point exactly, Maranello does exactly what they've always done, build the finest super cars money can buy.  Fiat just stays out of the way.  Gibson will do the same as they know ALL too well how this acquisition will be initially perceived. 

Relax.  All is well with Mesa Boogie.

Mesa Boogie Badlander amplifiers on the way !!!

Great news !!!

Mesa Boogie's latest electric guitar amplifier the Badlander is shipping NOW to Blues City Music LLC.  We have 1 - 100 watt head, 2 - 50 watt heads, and 1 - 1x12" combo with a Celestion 65 watt Creamback speaker coming very soon. 

Look for the 100 watt head by end of November 2020 and the remaining Badlanders coming first week of December 2020.

You want this amp.  It is the finest recreation of the original 2 channel Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier, but with a new twist and lots of new options.

Just reaching out to let you know Furch Guitars are really hot right now.  Unlike most companies in this post C-19 era, Blues City Music LLC and Furch Guitars has a LARGE supply of acoustic guitars for you IN STOCK.  NO WAIT.  I sold several over the weekend and have replacements delivering to us today.  We can even drop ship STRAIGHT from the Nashville Tennessee distributor if we don't have it in stock.

Bare Knuckle Pickups new DEALERSHIP.

Blues City Music LLC is proud to announce that we are now the newest dealer for Bare Knuckle pickups from London, England.  We have a large supply of pickups coming ASAP but for now we will concentrate on their highly popular humbucker series.  Once we feel out there product lines, we will venture into other types of pickups; however, we can certainly get you anything you want.
