Soldano SLO-100 Post Master Volume, Effects Level loop, available NOW !!!

It's official.

I spoke at length today with my bud Mike Soldano about the idea I had of making the Hot Rod 25, Post Master Volume, Effects Level, tube buffered loop a pre production OR post production option on the SLO-100 versus it being a seldom used one off mod. What we came up with is the following:

1. Post tone stack and master volume location, versus the standard +4db line level loop placed before the tone stack and Master Volume.

2. Individual Master Volumes will now act as the EFFECTS SEND control for the loop.

3. Original SLAVE OUT control on back chassis will change to an internal NON ADJUSTABLE SLAVE OUT while the original SLAVE OUT control will now become the loop EFFECTS RETURN control.

4. This loop requires a lot of work according to Mike but is much easier to install on an initial build versus an add on post build even though he will add it in both instances.

5. $350.00 up charge for the pre production amp and $450.00 up charge for any post built amp.

Labor is expensive and you get what you pay for as with anything. Sure, there are plenty of other guys that can do this, but having Mike do it not only keeps your warranty in place, but it's also done by Da Man himself. Win win for everyone.

For me, I love the +4db line level loop and have no interest in this loop, but I've had many many phone calls and emails through the years complaining about the loop not taking i.e., XY or Z pedals. Now you have it.

Did you know that we have the only custom made Bob Bradshaw 8 amp switching system ever made?  This allows us to run 4 Soldano Custom Amplification amps (Avenger 50, Soldano SLO-100, Lucky 13 50, and a Decatone) into 1 Soldano 4x12" speaker cabinet as well as 4 Diamond Amplification amps (327 SD, Spitfire II, Nitrox, and Phantom) into 1 Diamond 4x12" speaker cabinet.  All 8 of these amps can be on at one time, and you can switch back and forth from any amp via an 8 button MIDI foot switch. 

We also have 2 Diezel Amplification amps (Herbert and VH4) running through a Tone Bone Head Bone into a Diezel 4x12" cabinet, and we have 2 Friedman Amplification amps (BE-100 and Small Box) running through a Tone Bone Head Bone into a Friedman 4x12" cabinet.

No where can you run this many amps through custom switching systems in a dedicated acoustically correct demo room.  You can RUN AS LONG AND AS LOUD as you like.  That's right, we close the doors and you rock.

Soldano Hot Rod 25 rigs are selling VERY WELL !!!

Hey guys,

Hope you are enjoying your summer.  BCM has been very busy in our shop with guitar, amp, and effects demos and sales.  The Soldano Hot Rod 25 head and/or cabinet has been selling very well.  Matter of fact, we have sold over 30 of these rigs and I PERSONALLY own serial #002 of this amp.  Mike Soldano kept the final prototype and serial #001, but I had to have the first production 25. 

Today, I had 2 customers spend about 3 hours with my Hot Rod 25 head in my shop.  Both are coming back next week to purchase their own rig.

ALL PARTS are in stock at Soldano so you can get yours too, and QUICKLY.  Last one I sold shipped to its customer in 10 days.  

Think 6L6/WGC full size ouput tubes, 5 - 12AX7 preamp tubes, Post Master Volume tube bufferered Effects Loop, Impedance selector, dual speaker jacks.  50 watt trannys would to produce 400 plate volts versus 480 so you get the M Brown Sound.  DC heaters on the output tubes so it's whisper quiet.

This is your amp.  You can run this rig anywhere.  Shred at home at whisper volumes or push a 4x12" at an outdoor gig.  I've done both many times.
